I could not, at my age, be content to take my place by the fireside and simply look on. Life is meant to be lived! Curiosity must be kept alive. -Eleanor Roosevelt

After a 2 hour walk on the beach yesterday, we stopped in at Don Quixoite's for paella. Most people come off the beach in their bathing suits to eat at the restaurants so we weren't too concerned that we were sweaty and hot from our long walk. The paella was full of mussels, shrimps, unknown fish, but no squid! Yum. The wine was delicious too.

Along our walk, we saw fish markets with long lines of people buying portala, etc.

The fall wind continues to blow and the waves are great to see. It's cool in the mornings, but warms up as the day goes on. At sunset, we can still sit out in our shorts and short-sleeved shirts, but once the sun goes down, it cools immediately and we need a light jacket to stay out there.

Never Stop Exploring,

  1. The paella looks yummy! I love the waves breaking in the first picture. Sounds as though your temps are just right! Have fun with Beth.
