Mail delivery in Australia is done by motorbike. The mail woman/man, drives his/her motorcycle ON the sidewalks delivering mail to each mailbox that usually sits on the curb or near the driveway. They scoot along at a really good pace. We've also seen them zipping down the main highway at a fast speed; off to their route. They are easy to spot! And no, she did not ride the motorbike up those steps!
