Horseback riding... Hacienda San Joaquin, Ecuador

First you go to the stables to meet your horse.

Then you pose for the picture with your guide.

Next, your guide gets you all adjusted and tells you what to do in Spanish.

You let the horse guide you down past the motorcycle.

You follow your guide down the path letting the horse get used to you!

And, like the Lone Ranger, you ride off into the sunset.

After your 2 hr. ride, you come home to your casa to tell your wife that you had a wonderful time.

Lastly, Ramon poses again for the final picture.
Ramon was Bob's guide and they rode into Vilcabamba, hooked the horses up to a railing and stopped and had a cerveza at a little cafe, just like the locals do! They rode for 2 hrs. and except for a little leg burn, Bob had a blast and is going riding again on Thursday.

  1. At last, Roberto is fulfilling what I believe has been his life-long dream! Hope the Arnica helps with horseback riding, too!

Not only have you mastered pictures - but you've mastered the accompanying commentary !
