A few weeks ago, we met the man who owns this boat. He and his wife are from VA. They took a year and a half to sail here. They came down through the Panama canal and around the bottom of Argentina. We talked to him for quite awhile. They have the boat in dry dock because they are redoing the bottom before they sail up to Brazil, etc. and then back home. They hope to be leaving in May. They've had a wonderful adventure. He told us that they've really enjoyed their stay in Pirapolis and found the people so warm and helpful. We agreed.
