The Yachting Life... Boats of Piriapolis and Punta del Estes

We often sit on our balcony and watch the fishing boats head out and come in from the marina in front of our condo. We also have walked by the small fishing village down the road from here. The fishermen clean the fish right on the boardwalk and sell them there too. We've eaten fresh fish several times. All of it has been scrumptous! Can't say that we know the names of all these pescadaos, but we've certainly enjoyed the corvina, calimari, shimp and of course, the mussels!

Enjoy some pictures of the yachting/fishing life here. Although we are castaways, we have not casted a fishing line yet. ~!(: )

  1. Well, my Bob will be interested in this post - he'll size up all the boats. Glad you posted again. I check every day, of course. You must have found another hookup or else the ice cream shop's Internet is still connected! Snowing hard in Breckenridge as I write this...
