Sydney:
The Rocks area;
We spend a good part of a morning in Sydney exploring this historic area. It's framed by the diamond-sparkled waters of Sydney Harbor and shaped by history. The Rocks is where Sydney began. Narrow laneways along cobblestone streets lead you to stories about convicts and colonists. It's the place where the first European settlers stepped ashore in 1788. The Sydney Visitor Center's is located here and they gave us expert local advice.
