We'll miss Piriapolis. We'll miss seeing the magic of the sunsets from our balcony, eating maiz pinsingalla and drinking our cerveza Pilsen, toasting to our health and our life and our friends and families abroad with our vino tinto and vino blanco while watching the sunsets. We'll miss enjoying the activity at the marina, watching the fishing boats go out and come back in with their boat-loads of fresh fish, eating mussels, our two hour walks on the beach, the "strangers" we have met,laundry hanging on the lines, old houses, old cars... a unique "back to the 50s" way of life that we remember in our childhood days. We'll miss the slow pace of life and the beauty of nature and the people who live in Uruguay. We feel lucky to have found this place by accident (Bob was looking for interesting places to visit on the internet and found it on vrbo.com).
