Before Kendra left for KL, we rented a car for a few days and took an excursion along the coast with our final destination being Melbourne. Kendra was able to take a bus from the city to the airport. At Philip Island, we visited a Wildlife Park where we finally got to see many elusive Aussie animals; an up close echidna and several koalas were our favorites. Bob and Kendra had fun feeding the adorable wallabies. They took the food pellets very gently, unlike the cheeky cockatoos.

What great photos! I've never seen or heard of an echidna. They look like giant hedgehogs. The koalas are adorable.
