Our vrbo... Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Jose and his son Tony have been the most gracious hosts. They had us over for dinner the night before last. Jose grilled fresh (caught that morning) ahi tuna. I brought a salad. Jose made a potato dish, freshly cooked black beans and chimichurri sauce (garlic, parsley, capers, olive oil and salt... widely used in Argentina) to dollop on the tuna. Before dinner, we sat out on the beautiful patio overlooking their pool with the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Tony was happy to practice his English and tell us about his month-long stay in Dubois, WY when he was in high school. I biked through that small town during one of Ride Around WY bike rides years ago. It is a small world! Since it was Friday, Bob called our 101 year-old friend Inga on SKYPE and we chatted with her from the computer. She wanted to know where we were calling from. Tony and Jose thought it was great fun to listen to our conversation from Costa Rica to Rio Verde, AZ!

Maybe we need to bring Inga to Co. until you return. We'd take good care of her!
ReplyDeleteYou're trying to make Inga a techi at 101! Glad she got to talk to her Friday night boyfriend. It's snowing and blowing here - the skiing is great!
